18days to go!

well, I only have 18days left in the city of Liverpool, the city that has been home to me for the past 2years. I kinda liked it here already though sometimes the wind is annoying. But, it can be pleasant when there is sun and less wind!

I am leaving Liverpool to go to another country where its 20times much colder even in the day!!!
I am really not sure how I am gonna survive there but I will!
Shall keep everyone posted on my next adventure!

...

Gosh, I realised I haven't written anything since last year.
Well, this is gonna be my first one for 2010 and lets hope I will not slag again!

It's already February. Its almost time for me to leave UK. I am heavy hearted to go but I have my constraints and I do have another destination to head to. Sometimes, how I wish all that I wish for will go my way. But life doesn't happen that way, do they?

When I look back at the 2 years I spent here, I am really glad I took this journey. I found someone I really really want to spend my life with albeit he is from a foreign country. But somehow I felt I connect with him and that's where my next adventure is taking me to. Alot are at stake but I am willing to take the risk. You never try, you never know.

In the 2years I am in UK, I have learnt to value my family and to spend more wisely. Not that I managed to save alot but at least I managed to fulfill some of my dreams. Some may call me silly for leaving my job in Msia to come to UK and be a waitress. Though waitressing does not need much of thinking to do but its a job that requires attention and speed.
You need to be attentive to your customers, you have to be fast in clearing the tables, you have to know what to do if customers are unhappy, you need to make sure there are no mistakes in their food and the list goes on and on.
I am very grateful that in the course that I've been a waitress, I've made friends with some customers. I feel appreciated when they say thank you and they really meant it.

A lovely couple gave me a farewell gift the other day. Nearly made me cry as I can feel tears welling in my eyes. I was too lost for words just thank you. Other regulars customers too commented that they wish I won't go and that if there is anything they can do to help me stay back. But I guess, my journey in UK is coming to an end and when its time to leave, I just had to go.

But, fear not. I am going to my babe. Been separated for almost 1 year now. I can't wait to go to him.

Keeping my fingers crossed that I will update this blog diligently!!!!

Chinese Restaurant

I am currently working in a chinese restaurant. Been working here and learning how to write in chinese!!! Not a bad place to work. only a few of us working there. Its quite far from liverpool. Everyday, we need to travel around 45mins to get to the restaurant. Located in Mold, North Wales, its a quiet place with beautiful views around.
Work load is not too much only the travelling is tiring.
well, at least I still have some income. So, no complains here

14A, Albert Street, L7 3EJ, Liverpool

My new address. My new home or actually my new room. Shifted into this room on 9/7/09. I am living with my colleague now. Amanda has shifted over to Enid's place where its nearer to her work place.

The place I am staying in now is very near to Liverpool University. Though its bit far from city centre, I am quite pleased with my room though the building itself is very run-down. Nevertheless, I have unpacked most of my stuff and now its more cosy though still messy. Its so much cheaper to stay here as well compared to my previous place.

I miss Apartment 16 still. Miss the messiness of the place. kkkk. Miss the noise I get at night from people on the street. Miss those crazy people screaming. Miss hanging with my friends as well as most of them stay around there.

Anyway, I won't be here long. Just gonna be another 6months. Then, I am out of UK. Next destination???

To be with my bb. Wherever he goes, I go. :P

Apartment 16,94-96 Wood Street, L1 4DQ, Liverpool,Merseyside,UK

9.7.09 marks the last day Amanda and myself is gonna be in this apartment. Home to us and to countless visitors, I am surely gonna miss this house. It may be a pigsty at times, but its our cosy pigsty. Much joy and laughter in this home of ours which we name 'House of Half Pride' (though I think this has gonna change now. :P). Much tears has fallen as well in this home of ours.
I would love to continue staying here but its too costly.
I am moving to a new place , a much further place from town as well as cheaper. I don't mind that as long as I can save some money.

One of the best memories of Apartment 16 was when mummy and daddy came. There were a total of 7 of us in the apartment!!! You must wonder how an apartment so small can fit 7 people!!! Besides Mummy and Daddy, Chee Fai came as well, 3times. Jancy, Kai Li, Hong Hin, Chuen Ding, CK, Zhen Weng and his friends, Tommy bunked in for a few days, countless parties here not forgetting the number of vomitting in this house!

So much of memories we leave behind in this home. One of them is I found Baagii. I didn't imagine I could like him let alone fall in love with him. It has been nice when he stayed over for a few days here. Felt like our home for a moment. Very nice.

I am gonna remember everything that happened in this house. The house that has been home to me for the past 1 year. Gonna miss it very much!

Summer of 2009

Its summer time! Woo hooooo!
Darn bloody hot this year. So dry and hot! It went up to 28deg C and it was like oven in the restaurant. My colleague can't stop sneezing and I can't stop sweating! Hahaha.

Well, this year's summer is better compared to last year. Feels more like summer to me this year.
My summer last year was only a few days of sun. Apart than that, it was windy and rained through out. I felt cold most of the time that I have to wear a jacket whenever I go out.

This year, the sun decided it wants to come out and play. Glorious sunshine for a few weeks already. Nice! Though a little too hot and dry for me even. Kekeke... Let's hope this weather stays for a few more weeks before it turned cold again. :(
