Falling sick again!
Again I am having the flu, cough n sore throat. It has been really cold here. Maybe that's why I am falling sick. Haizz...
As if the surrounding is not cold enough, the heater at the restaurant has broken down. We had to work in a freezer and there is no where else that we can go and hide from the cold. Most of my colleagues are falling sick as well. These few days has been better in the restaurant. Think they fixed the heating system. FINALLY!!! But it is still not warm enough. Imagine having customers complaining that it is too cold and they had to put on their jackets when it is cold. But we had to endure the cold in our short sleeves uniform. Hmmm... No wonder we are falling sick!!!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2009!
It's a new year. So, I should have a new year resolution right??? WRONG!!! Haha! I haven't thought of any since I don't know when and I don't think I will start this year. Even if I do, don't think I will b able to follow it through. Hehe. I am just so bad at that.
2008 was a year to remember indeed. First time being away from home for so long and so far! Thinking of 2008, there were lots of beautiful memories made. With family, loved ones and friends. Thanks to them for making it so memorable.
As years pass, and as I am getting older, I learn that family and friends are very important in my life. Without them, who am I. I also learn life is unpredictable. Who knows what fate brings you and how it twists your life. But I am thankful that so far, life has been good. There are ups and downs of course. But as I grow older, I learn to embrace it bravely and not forgetting to mention with some guidance and support of loved ones and friends.

Merry Christmas!!!
HO!HO!HO! Merry Christmas!!! Keke! I know this post came a bit late. Been busy partying! Haha!
This is the first time I celebrate Xmas away from home, from family and friends. Luckily, I have a great bunch of friends here and that made the celebration special as well. Had a simple pot-luck party at Goh's house. The simple pot-luck was not simple at all as we were all stuffed with all the variety of food prepared. We even had the same thing for dinner on boxing day!!! LOL!
Look at the amount of food!!!
It was nice though. A small group of youngsters, all away from home to celebrate together. Takes away the missing home feeling. We sang, drank and sang and drank the night away. We had a kara-ok singing competition on the PS3. Though Jorge was hogging the mic all the time, he still lost most of the time. Kaka!!! Thinks he need more practice la!

Was hoping for a white xmas but there wasn't even one speck of snow!!! ARgggghhhh!!! Anyway, it was cold enough to kill me even without the snow. Brrrrrrrr.....
This is the 3rd yr I am not celebrating wt Dar. Miss celebrating special occasions like this with him. Guess one would have to sacrifice something to gain other things. I hope next year we can celebrate it together. Keeping my fingers crossed!

Tummy discomfort
Been having tummy discomfort since Monday. Don't know whats wrong. I went to 2 doctors already and all they told me is that I have constipation and a lot of trapped air. I took pills to relieve my constipation but my tummy still aches. I really don't understand it. It makes me feel horrible and I can't work properly. It also wake me up in the wee hours of the morning. Gosh! Help me and please take away this discomfort!

Its December already and the weather is turning horrible. Its so cold here that its torturing me even to walk to work. It hailed 3 times today. Really strange.

I saw snow!!!
I really did see snow on 23.11.08. It was an unusually cold night n suddenly at midnite around 2am, small freckles of snow fell. At first, I thought it was raining but when I looked properly, it was actually snow. Being so excited, Amanda and myself ran downstairs equipped with my camera to record it down.
It was not really easy to catch it on video because the flakes were too small. But after an hour, the flakes became bigger and more visible. Both Amanda and myself were really excited and happy to witness it. We told our friends about it which many of them just shrug it off saying we are MAD!!! Hehe.
Anyway, forecast says its gonna snow again maybe on Monday or Tuesday. Guess I am gonna have a White Xmas after all!!!
